About Course

This class introduces the use of Derivative Instruments as hedging instruments to reduce the risk within a business and explain the terms used. Then the class continues to specifically explain (with examples) the use of interest rate swap agreements to reduce interest rate risk, as well as the concept of duration and immunisation within an interest rate risk environment.
